Tank Must Large Steel Bracelet

The Shape That Started It.

Rectangular case with vertical brancards, silver dial, Roman numerals and blued sword hands, on the steel bracelet rather than leather. The bracelet squares the whole thing off and makes it read as a sports watch it was never meant to be.

Louis Cartier drew the outline in 1917 off a tank seen from above, and the shape has needed almost nothing since.
