Datejust 41 'Wimbledon' Yellow Gold Oyster

Roman Numerals in Green.

A slate dial with green Roman numerals, under a fluted yellow gold bezel, on the Oyster bracelet in Rolesor. Collectors named it Wimbledon for the colours and nothing better has stuck since. Against yellow gold the green reads warmer than it does on the Everose version, and the grey holds the whole thing steady.

The fluting was originally functional, screwed down to seal the case, and it stayed once Rolex realised what it did to the light.
