Datejust 41 Black Dial White Gold Fluted Jubilee

Fluting Without the Gold Tell.

A black dial with applied markers, under a fluted white gold bezel, on the five-link Jubilee in Oystersteel. The fluting gives it the light-catching edge of a two-tone without any of the colour, so it reads as a steel Datejust until it moves.

Originally the fluting was functional, screwed down to seal the case. It stayed once Rolex realised what it did to the light.
