Datejust 41 Silver Dial White Gold Fluted Jubilee

Silver on Steel, Fluted in White Gold.

A silver sunburst dial with applied markers, under a fluted white gold bezel, on the five-link Jubilee in Oystersteel. Everything on it sits in the same tone, which is why it works — nothing on the dial argues with the case and the fluting does all the interrupting.

Originally the fluting was functional, screwed down to seal the case. It stayed once Rolex realised what it did to the light.
