Datejust 41 'Wimbledon' Everose Oyster

Roman Numerals in Green.

A slate dial with green Roman numerals, under a fluted Everose gold bezel, on the Oyster bracelet in Rolesor. Collectors named it Wimbledon for the colours and the name has outlasted every attempt at a better one. Green on grey, and nothing else on the dial competing for attention.

The fluting was originally functional, screwed down to seal the case, and it stayed once Rolex realised what it did to the light.
