The movement is skeletonised, blackened and laser-ablated so the bridges read as the lunar surface. Through the front you see the near side of the moon. Through the caseback, the far side, with the words the Apollo 8 crew radioed before losing contact.

Black ceramic case, and the only Speedmaster where the movement is the dial.
