Blue Under Fluted White Gold.

A blue sunburst dial with applied markers, under a fluted white gold bezel, on the five-link Jubilee in Oystersteel. Blue is the colour the Datejust has worn longest and best, and the fluting adds edge without adding warmth.

Originally the fluting was functional, screwed down to seal the case. It stayed once Rolex realised what it did to the light.
